In and Between Place and Home I, 57th Venice Biennale, Italy, (2017)

2 hour performance, polystyrene resin and latex sculpture, bleached cotton, charcoal, coconut oil 

In and Between Place and Home I, is the first in a three part series of performances in which Libita journey’s with sculptural rocks from; Venice - London - Cornwall. For this first iteration, Libita carried one of the sculptures from her installation Aqua Alta, out of the Diaspora Pavilion and through Venice in rhythm with the city’s morning commuters. 

The performance was programmed within a day of live art events for; Map:1 Waterways, curated by Something Human and International Curators Forum. The Diaspora Pavilion, was a major group exhibition of 12 artists and mentors presented with International Curators Forum, in partnership with University Arts London.
